In Brazil: The Poor Get Richer Faster

An article in Forbes states that income inequality is decreasing in Brazil, in contrast to the United States where the distribution of incomes is becoming more unequal.  The Brazilian statistic reflects a rapid rise in average income for the least wealthy Brazilians.  According to the article, this is not the consequence of government programs.  The article does not explicate a cause.
